GOP Senator uses Obama in New TV AD

This ad takes the cake and proves what many people already think about McCain, his energy policy, and the republicans. Just watch the ad by Republican Senator Gordon Smith.

Well, the ad speaks for itself but, just in case some of you didn’t get it.  Basically a republican using Obama to show that he is bipartisan.  Thus contradicts everything that the GOP has been saying about Obama.  You know, they say that Obama isn’t bipartisan and never worked with republicans, (which was a false claim seeing as how he worked with McCain on immigration and McCain praised Obama’s work on the bill) and that Obama has been sitting around doing nothing in the senate (which is also false seeing as how he couldn’t have gotten this far without doing something).

Is McCain’s energy plan that bad that he had to goto his working with Obama rather then just promoting McCain’s energy plan by just saying he supports offshore drilling.  I would say yeah, McCain’s energy and environmental plan is that bad (click here).  Maybe McCain is just “out of touch” with his republican base because republicans are also becoming more eco-friendly and the ones I talk to say they don’t support his stupid offshore drilling plan.  Maybe Gordon Smith is just smart.  He is trying to win in a Oregon, a state that is liking Obama right now and comparing himself to Obama is a sure bet in getting crossover votes.

This is just gold and I will keep on my website forever.

I was just reading about this last night. I thought Obama’s response was golden as well. Something about that although he works with Republicans and believes in bipartisan change, he is backing Jeff Merkley in Oregon’s race. Classic.
