A McCain surrogate of course.  Bud Day, you know that guy who was involved in the Swift Boat veterans group that brought down John kerry.  Ok so this kind of talk coming for Bud Day isn’t surprising but anyways here what he says,

One of John McCain’s fellow POW’s in Vietnam defended the war in Iraq, saying, “The Muslims have said either we kneel or they’re going to kill us.”

Colonel Bud Day added: “I don’t intend to kneel and I don’t advocate to anybody that we kneel, and John doesn’t advocate to anybody that we kneel.”

Muslim leaders have complained that they have been vilified as terrorists since the Sept. 11 attacks.

What is the world was this guy thinking.  He also implies that McCain agrees with him.  I don’t know what McCain thinks, but McCain needs to get new surrogates.  McCain camp has not disavow these comments yet, but I’ll post the response when its available.

BUD DAY’S COMMENTS

THE MCCAIN CAMP SAYS, “The threat we face is from radical Islamic extremism.”.  FIRST, I HAVE TO SAY THAT BUD DAY NEVER SAID RADICAL ISLAMIC EXTREMISM HE SAID MUSLIMS, YOU KNOW IN A GENERAL SENSE REFERRING TO ALL MUSLIMS.  WOW, THIS IS MAJOR, A SURROGATE SPEWS HATRED AND MCCAIN AGREES.  INTERESTING.

Remember when some volunteer groups removed two Muslim women, without the campaigns permission.  These people were so mad, they request personal phone calls from Obama, they wanted tickets to his next event, they wanted a public apology, even  Rep. Keith Ellison the only Muslim congressman yelled at Obamaat a closed door with the congressional black caucus because of this.  And what happens when Muslims are disrespects by a McCain surrogate that supposed to be representing McCain, they go silent.  Typical this election year.  Im not a Muslim but, if they expect to stop being depicted as not American or as terrorist then they are going to have to step up and take a stand against comments like this.  The hatred against Muslims is despicableand if they want to be respected, then they will have to speak out against stuff like this.  The media is definitely not going to because they are in love with McCain.  And I doubt Bud Day, who by the way is the head of McCain truth squad group, I doubt he won’t be fired unless theres outrage.  These kind of people should not be involved in American politics.
