Can you say presumptuous, I can. This is so freaking hilarious. To be honest based on Obama’s past debate performance and the fact that I was a Hillary supporter therefore I criticized Obama’s debate style, I still think it’s going to be an up in the air sort of thing whether who wins or lose. When debating against Hillary we just knew Hillary would win, but Obama has gotten better throughout the primary so I would expect Obama to be a total dud during the debate. Anyways, here the McCain Internet advertisement and The Fix’s reporting,
Although the fate of tonight’s presidential debate in Mississippi remains very much up in the air, John McCain has apparently already won it — if you believe an Internet ad an astute reader spotted next to this piece in the online edition of the Wall Street Journal this morning.
“McCain Wins Debate!” declares the ad which features a headshot of a smiling McCain with an American flag background. Another ad spotted by our eagle-eyed observer featured a quote from McCain campaign manager Rick Davis declaring: “McCain won the debate– hands down.”

There are polls out say the American people expect Obama to win the debate. Either they are contradicting themselves since this is about foreign policy and polls show that McCain is better on foreign policy according to polls so why would people expect Obama to win a foreign policy debate against McCain. I think Obama will win, but I wouldn’t be surprised if McCain wins. They seem to be equally poor during debates, at least during the primaries.
I have always found it odd that people perceive McCain as stronger on foreign policy. I figure that they just are not listening to what McCain actually is saying or they think he’s got all this expertise since he was in the Navy.
I believe that his need to “win” in Iraq has more to do with him not being able to let go of his guilt concerning his internment in Vietnam & loss of the war.
