Looks like one organization is still a little, salty about Pres. Obama win. Still using the tired campaign attacks except this time it just flat out compares Pres. Obama to Hitler. This isn’t a surprise if you’ve heard what many extremist on the right say about him, but to have it on TV and stations actually willing to air this garbage is a bit ridiculous.
The ad is done by Our Country Deserves Better PAC. They were practically on TV full force during the election, at least here in Michigan. They’re the group that alleges Obama isn’t American, his wife doesn’t love America and he’s connected to terrorist and so on. Oh and they were the same group that did that horrible, Thanksgiving themed, Thank You Sarah Palin ad. Here’s the audio to the new official ad set to debut July 7th, if they were as patriotic as they claim, then they would have released it on July 4th.
Be afraid, be very afraid…or, just notice that this group is playing the fear card.

Dag, looks like YouTube deleted the ad for TOS violation. On the one hand would love to have heard what these yahoos had to say. On the other hand, the garbage really doesn’t need a wider audience.
They took the other one down because now they actually have the official ad. So, now you hear what they have to say, but I’m pretty sure you’ve heard this rhetoric before. You’re probably right that it doesn’t need a wider audience but some things I just can’t help myself with lol.
Yeah, we have heard this rhetoric before. It was during the entire Bush presidency. You can see Joe’s comment below, which has gotten no response, for example after example.
Let us know when they start making ObamAdolph shirts, OK?
First, Joe’s comment was posted today as it was a pending comment. Unless my response to a comment can be a 1-2 liner and I’m not busy doing other things, I basically stop responding to comments on older threads.
We don’t see a large number of Dems on TV calling Bush, Hilter nor were they collectively calling him a fascist in mass mobs. I just saw the Susan Roesgen tape and seeing as how she was doing a voiceover for the shot, what’s she going to do? yell at the camera screen, if the eye roll smilie still existed, I’d eyeroll lol.
The point is that these instances are more predominate on the republican side and it’s republicans that are giving voice to these people. Thus allowing this to become a major part of the party that can and will be subjected to scrutiny. Nor are many of these politician willing to separate themselves from these types of comments.
We might not see ObamAdolph shirts but fox news and other mainstream republicans have no problem comparing the U.S. to fascism & socialism when Obama’s in office.
Unbelievable. And yet, I’m not surprised. It would be funny if it wasn’t so offensive.
Yeah, it’s kind of a shame that this isn’t surprising. And I agree, it really has the making of a funny ad if it didn’t compare Obama with Hitler. I actually miss ridiculous ads against Obama that were actually funny.

Why don’t they honestly admit that their main source of information is e-mails forwarded from their Aunt Sally and be done with it?

How many other Bush-Hitler videos are on youtube that have not been pulled?
Really, how many people have heard of “Our Country Deserves Better PAC”? But how many have heard of MoveOn.org, who tried to distance themselves from it. Seriously, coming from MoveOn.org, if they hadn’t been hammered by the public do we really think they would have been so reactive against it?
While Dems have had the Hitler/Nazi thing pointed at them from time to time, by far it is the left that uses the analogy against Republicans. So crying about a nobody PAC comparing Obama to the totalitarian regime of Hitler is more than a little hypocritical in context to the lefts recent rhetoric against Bush.
Here’s the thing …
If it was wrong to do during the Bush years (and it was), then it’s still wrong.
Yes, there are people indignant now who didn’t care then, or who were doing it then. They’re hypocrites.
Your choice, Joe, is whether to join their hypocrisy by condemning it only once.
I condemned it under Bush and Obama. Your choice?
I’m sure your voice was loud and clear then…
Comparing anyone to Hitler is stupid considering the level of evil of that man. I’ve commented on political hyperbole before, and this is simply the extension of that.
Socialism is a political ideology and there is absolutely nothing wrong in identifying socialist policies. It is not the same as Hitler, so your tying Obama-socialism to Obama-Hitler is ludicrous, and somewhat malicious as it seeks to shield Obama from accurate, and appropriate, criticism.
To say that political hyperbole is more prevalent on GOP side versus the left is devoid of reality. Really, not even close…
Well, for the record, yes. I was loud and clear. I wasn’t blogging then, so I can’t really prove it, but there are people who are intellectually consistent rather than partisan.
