Yes, in his bid to convince the house we need to gather illegal immigrants and send them home, he compares them to grasshoppers entering the country illegally. The rationale for this is also strange. He says,
Now it seems to me that if we are so advanced with technology and manpower and competence that we can capture illegal grasshoppers from Brazil, in the holds of ships that are in a little small place in Port Arthur, Texas on the Sabine River……
If we’re able to do that as a country, how come we can’t capture the thousands of people that cross the border everyday on the southern border of the United States?….
I mean, not to get technical here, but there’s a big difference between the “holds of ships” and the whole Mexico-US border. Also, those grasshoppers are in a confined place, and only takes a few people to capture. Now, this is just me attempting to make rational discussion of his stupid illegal immigrant-illegal grasshopper rationale. Here’s the video, enjoy.

Actually he makes a damn good point. With our tech there is no reason for us not to be able to roundup every last illegal and send them home. And please do not tell me we cannot afford it. Illegal aliens currently cost the American people and legal immigrants over 320 billion a year, and for a onetime fee of 250 billion we could afford to round then up and send them home. So I will applaud representative Poe’s analogy. It just gulls me how desperate groups are for cheap illegal labor to grasp at any tiny, tiny straw. I do not think you even have a clue how stupid you look.

Chuck the stupidest people in the world are ones like you. Being gay is genetic just like be straight is. This has already been proven. As for Democrats the only thing wrong with our Democratic representatives in Washington, is the fact that they keep trying to push through an amnesty for the 20+ million illegal aliens of which 8+ million hold non-farm jobs. They continue to do this even though they know that over 70% of Americans and legal immigrants want our current immigration laws enforced. Good case in point is the fact that now another 17 states are talking about creating and passing lows just like Arizona’s SB 1070. Counting Arizona that is 36% of the states in such a short period of time who want to pass laws to enforce our federal immigration laws. Then we have the fact that to strong amnesty supporters will loose their seats come November, and chances are extremely good that Senator McCain will loose his seat in November because of his support for amnesty. Instead of attacking groups that have done nothing wrong like gays start putting your energy to better use fighting to get our immigration laws enforced on all level of government.
