In an effort to be as un-republican as possible, Mitt Romney expresses at a townhall that he believes in man-made global warming and that the scientists are right. I think I hear the sounds of republicans making “Mitt Romney, RINO 2012″ posters.
Not that I disagree with Mitt Romney, but the issue is that a huge chunk of the republican party that votes, doesn’t agree with him. Also, this opens up a can of warms in the future for someone to simply ask, “since you believe in man-made global warming, to what extent are you willing reduce the U.S. emission rate, and how do you do this without increasing the deficit?”. His answer to that simple question could ruin his chances in a republican primary. Here’s a clip of his statement during the townhall.
